| .....June thru August is the rainy season for the Big Bend Area - it can rain hard and heavy for several hours or just for a few minutes but during that time we get a lot of it - within a couple of hours the ground is dry again and we can use the hard pan adobe roads we live off of..... .....that's the "descending moon" from the same evening - pictures cannot get close enough but you can see the whole desert terrain for several miles as the light from the moon reflects off the desert floor..... |
