A REAL GURL IN HIS BUNK?....
ADOPTED August 15, 2004, in Austin, Texas and brought to Terlingua the next day!
I named her Pam, in honor of my best gurlie biker bud and like my best friend up in the
Ozarks, she's a handful to handle too! Seems Pam was always getting into the mud when
she was a child and this gurl, about a year old, couldn't wait to get off her leash two days
later and get into some serious mud! She has adapted quite well thus far, has lots of
energy and da DingoMan will probably have to KEEP UP with this Lab/Newfoundland mix!
She's still being trained, is house broken and quite intelligent and loves to get off her
leash and take off into the surrounding desert area - something we're gonna have to
work on so that she doesn't get snared by a few coyotes (they lure dogs away here and
kill them from what I have been told - so far she's been extremely protective at night,
growling when she hears the coyotes coming onto the property)......she also
encountered her FIRST RATTLER - saw it before I did and started barking.....
.....Great to have another four legged companion in my Life again!.....
NOW she's gotta learn to slow down a bit and chill out - YEAH RIGHT!
